They formed in 2008 and competed for the first time as a quartet in May 2009. The quartet has a varied repertoire and would be thrilled to entertain you!

Tone-Acity are an International Award Winning four part harmony ladies quartet. They sing arrangements in choral, Jazz, pop and many more musical styles and cover many eras from Nat King Cole to pop princess Rhianna, all a’cappella so they don’t need any instruments, just beautiful music with their voices alone.

Royal Effect is a quartet featuring our very own Musical Director Kim. After having their first rehearsal in September 2015, Royal Effect have already had an exciting few months. They competed for the first time in the regional competition of Sweet Adelines in May and placed an amazing 5th place with a score of 580 and are now preparing for the Labbs Semi-finals in October after placing 1st at the preliminary round in June 2016. They are very excited for the journey ahead!!

The quartet clock up some miles in order to get to rehearsal with Emmy (baritone) and Teresa (Lead) living in Nottingham, Coley (Bass) living in New Mills and of course our Kimmy (tenor) living in Wigan. This shows just what this hobby can do for you because you never know where it will lead to.
